Day 1
Fly direct to Oslo. On arrival transfer to Oslo by rail where you will spend 2 nights.

Day 2
Oslo: Free time in Oslo to discover more than just stunning scenery as you explore one of the many world-class museums and galleries.

Day 3
Rail from Oslo to Bergen where you will spend 2 nights. Depart 0825 arrive 1459 or depart 1203 arrive 1858.

Day 4
Bergen: Today you embark on the fabulous 'Noway in a Nutshell' tour. This legendary tour takes you through Norway's most breathtaking UNESCO-protected fjord and mountain scenery, on Europe's top scenic rail journey.

Starting from Bergen you first set out on a scenic train journey to Voss on the Bergen Railway. From Voss, you travel by bus through charming villages and scenic natural landscapes, towards Gudvangen.

The bus will arrive in Gudvangen, where you continue the tour by taking a fjord cruise on the on the narrow Nærøyfjord and the magnificent Aurlandsfjord. 

After your fjord cruise, you arrive in the small village of Flåm, nestled in the innermost part of the Aurlandsfjord, where your tour continues by taking the legendary Flåm Railway. 

The Flåm Railway will arrive in Myrdal, where you change trains to the Bergen Railway. You travel back to Bergen 

Day 5
Make your own way to Bergen airport for the direct flight to Copenhagen where you will spend 3 nights. Flight departs 2005 and arrives 2125.

Day 6
Copenhagen: You could try a canal tour - a popular way to see the city and, of course, the Little Mermaid from the water. She is the most photographed statue in the world and draws tourists to the old port district of Nyhavn. Stroll around this fascinating part of town with its colourful gabled houses and fabulous architecture. One of the quayside cafés or bars makes a great pit stop.

Day 7
Copenhagen: The heart of the city is centred around the pedestrian street ‘Strøget’ which runs from the Radhuspladsen (City Hall square) and is packed with shops and street artists. The locals are bike crazy and with a huge network of award-winning paths and lanes across town, hiring a bike is a great way to get around. Roseburg castle is home to Denmark’s Crown Jewels and contains an abundance of royal and historical collections. 

Day 8
Transfer by rail to Copenhagen airport for the return flight to the UK.

Our opinion... A charming hotel in the centre of Oslo.

Location... Everything Oslo has to offer is within easy reach of Scandic Grensen, including culture and history, and not forgetting, of course, the best shopping, restaurants and nightlife.

Accommodation... The small but practical rooms have all that you need for a pleasant stay in Oslo. Rooms are equipped with blackout curtains, desk and chair, free WIFI, hairdryer, safety box and TV. Bathrooms come with a shower. 
Facilities... Buffet breakfast available in the morning. In the evening light meals and drinks are served.
Transport... The hotel is walking distance from Central Station.

Our opinion… Great value, good facilities and well located.

Location… C.Sundtsgt 18, 5004 Bergen, Norway. Best Western Hotel Hordaheimen is located in the heart of Bergen, an 8-minute walk from the historical harbour, Bryggen Wharf. Torgallmenningen Square is just 450 metres away. Within a 10-minute walk are Floibanen and Bergenhus Fortress.

Accommodation… 88 en suite rooms, well furnished and comfortable.

Facilities… Kaffistova Restaurant known for traditional good Norwegian food.

Our opinion... Great location.

Location... The hotel is located in a quiet street at the harbour front, a few minutes of walking from Nyhavn, Kongens Nytorv, the shopping street Stroget and Amalienborg.

Accommodation... All rooms are non-smoking and with private en-suite facilities (shower/WC), hairdryer, flat screen tv, radio and telephone. Free wireless internet access is available from all rooms and from a guest pc at the reception. 

Facilities... Breakfast room. Outside breakfast hours, complimentary coffee and tea are available for all guests in the restaurant. Sandwiches and cold beverages can be bought at the reception all 24 hours.Luggage can be stored at the hotel. 

Transport... Bus stops and a metro station close to the hotels for easy transportation to and from Copenhagen airport and central train station.
