The starting point for your Lille City Break, has to be the beautiful 17th century old town. Indulge in a spot of shopping in the many boutiques dotted around the cobbled streets. If you enjoy art, then pop into the hospise comtesse which houses a lovely art collection and fine paintings. Connected to the old town, the Grand Place is worth a stop to amble in the bookshops, or enjoy a coffee. Lille also has a Citadelle dating back to the 16th century, some lovely art galleries, a cathedral and a zoo to name just a few of the many sightseeing opportunities a Lille city break has to offer.
