The hotel overall was good, although the room was small & there were no coffee/tea making facilities & it would be better to have twin beds rather than a double. The hotel location is quite a way from the city centre so were reliant on taxis or the tram routes which can be a bit confusing.
The hotel was very clean and the rooms and public areas were ideal for us. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is very well located with easy access to all public transport and within distance of Krakow Centre.
Clean rooms, excellent staff and good restaurant.
The hotel is ok, but i would stay closer to the Old Town next time.
Hotel was good but some distance away from main attractions. A good public transport in to th main square. Not recommended for someone with limited walking.
Fairly modern Hotel adjacent to Mogilskie traffic roundabout and underpass, with frequent tram service into the old town, but a pleasant 25 minute walk along Kopernica adjacent to Botanical Gardens. Rail and Bus station 15 min walk away. Room was fairly small, but clean and comfortable, though little storage space for clothes! Bathroom was clean and good. Room had Air conditioning, and opening double glazed window looking out onto the main road, but room was always quiet. Good Flat screen TV and local channels and SKY News. Room also had a free digital locking safe for valuables passports etc. Room access by key card. Breakfast buffet was good, though as usual with 3 star hotels, the coffee and tea were a bit disappointing! Breakfast room was sometimes very busy and noisy with crowds from Coach party tours. Reception staff were good and spoke English, but were often very busy. Lift to all floors. We enjoyed our stay here and would certainly visit again.
2 big thumbs up! Most important for us was the location. An easy walk into Krakow Old Town. Close to tram station to get out & about - plus fab breakfast & fab friendly staff!! Nothing too much trouble!
The staff at the Chopin were wonderful, throughly enjoyed staying there with one exception. The menu for food was poor. Very little choice especially the main meals - although the food was cooked and presented excellently. Would not have liked to stay at the Chopin for any longer than a weekend break for this reason only.
Clean, comfortable and friendly. The reception staff were very pleasant and very helpful and accommodated our requests for extra bedding and excursions willingly.
Service staff worked hard and seemed very cheerful. Hotel is situated about 20 minutes (interesting) walk from tourist attraction of old town. Only slight disappointment was poor TV picture but sky news was adequate to keep us in touch with events in UK.
Welcoming reception staff, room clean & comfortable, breakfasts good. Very handy for tram connections and 15 minute easy walking to the Old Town.
The hotel and where it was, was perfect. Will go again & again. Very clean.
This is a smart budget hotel with friendly staff offering good food at reasonable prices. The location is not too bad, but would be unsuitable for those unable to walk any great distance, however, public transport is very cheap & located nearby.
Location is good for easy walking into centre or catching trams, but not for a pretty view. Spacious public areas, but room compact with small clothes hanging space and space to walk around bed. There is a discount off restaurant, but there was no atmosphere - large parties of other guests sat at tables without table cloths for a buffet whilst only a handful of tables were for those dining a la carte. No competition with restaurants in centre. Staff are pleasant and speak English. A taxi to airport through the hotel was cheaper than the one we got from airport.
Rooms were small but beds comfortable. General décor in hotel very jazzy and bright. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was good, but there was a function on one night and we had to eat our meal either in the small bar or the reception area. Also, there was a large touring group staying one evening and they rather dominated the dining room! Downtown Krakow was about 20 minutes\\\' walk away - but a pleasant walk - there was a tram system but we never used it. Hotel is near main roads and traffic noise was noticeable if bedroom window open. It didn\\\'t bother us.
Excellent Hotel but a bit isolated unless you make use of the excellent tram service which is just 2 minutes walk away. Maybe the hotel could give map and payment advice for the tram system
The breakfasts were magnificent and staff most helpful and friendly
Lovely hotel with polite & friendly staff. Not walking distance but taxi\\\'s ordered from reception take 5 mins to centre & are cheap enough. Super facilities, would stay again.
Hotel was approximately 15 mins from Main Square. Tram stop short distance from hotel approximately 3 mins. Tours were excellent and well organised. Pick ups were on time.
Would have preferred a more central hotel, but for the price, and transport options, it was very good.
Staff very helpful, breakfast excellent, room clean and compact. two small gripes
there was no tea/coffee making facilities and no fridge and it was boilling hot
in Kracow in late July.
Good 3* hotel within easy reach of old city centre.
Comfortable room with friendly helpful staff. excellent breakfast and plenty of it! Good choice in restaurant and we ate in one evening. Will definitely return to Krakow and to this hotel.
The hotel was clean and tidy, staff very helpful. No tea making facilities in room.
Very comfortable hotel. Spotless. Wide choice for breakfast. Within easy walking distance from main train station. Very polite and helpful staff. Very pleased with our stay.
Hotel staff friendly, hotel very clean and rooms warm and cosy. Breakfast good. Would recommend hotel.
The hotel was \\\"no frills\\\" but warm and comfortable. The prices were reasonable. The staff were very helpful. Overall it was a good experience.
The hotel is well run with helpful staff - the big advantage of the hotel is its convenient location - right above the Rondo Magilskie where many trams stop.
