Our opinion…This may not be the most central hotel in town, but comes highly recommended by Cities Direct as it offers excellent value for money and always gets excellent feedback from our clients.

Location... Vígszínház u. 3. Located in the city centre, a 10-minute walk from the Parliament, the Danube river and Margaret Island. Also nearby are St. Stephen's Basilica and Szechenyi Chain Bridge.

Accommodation…160 modern styled, well equipped rooms. Air conditioned.

Facilities… The Manzanos Restaurant and Afterwork Bar offer local and international specialities.

NH Budapest has a sauna and a fitness facility.

Transport...The Nyugati train and metro station is 500 metres away.

Location... This stunning hotel is situated close to the world heritage Andrassy Street and is within walking distance of the Danube River and the impressive Hero's Square. It is also just a 2 minute walk from the city's best stretch of restaurants and bars in Liszt Ferenc. 

Accommodation…All rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated in modern design and only the finest fabrics and materials have been used for the soft furnishings. The rooms are built around two internal courtyards where guests can enjoy breakfast in the morning or light lunches throughout the day.

Our opinion...This luxury, elegant hotel, opened in 2010 at the former site of Hungaria Bath and is a protected Art Nouveau building.

Location... Continental Zara Hotel is located in the heart of Budapest, near the junction of Nagykörút (Grand Boulevard) and Rákóczi út within walking distance from the Dohany street Synagogue. Andrássy út and the Oktogon are easily accessible on foot, while Pest’s Broadway is only a few minutes away.

Accommodation… 272 soundproofed, well equipped and comfortable rooms with air conditioning. 

Our opinion… This is one of the best 4* hotels in Budapest and perfect for anyone wanting to experience the boutique hotel vibe. 

Location... Só utca 6, 05. Fantastically well located just off the popular and famous Vaci street with its great choice of shops, bars and restaurants. It is also just meters away from the Danube and is next to all of the city's best transport links.

Accommodation…The 74 rooms are retro in style with slick wooden furniture, comfortable beds, a carpeted floor and a table and chair. All rooms have smart minimalist en-suite bathrooms with shower and hair dryer and the rooms have telephone, satellite and pay-per-view TV, high speed internet access, air-con, mini bar, safe, sound proof windows, tea and coffee making facilities and good wardrobe space.

Our opinion… A top-class luxury hotel. The focal point of this property is the legendary New York Café

Location... Erzsebet Korut 9-11. Superb hotel in the heart of Budapest, within walking distance of the major sights and shopping, set in a beautiful old building which has been meticulously restored to its former glory.

Accommodation…The rooms are fabulously opulent combining immaculately restored original features with funky, modern furniture and rich coloured soft furnishings. They are all large and both the rooms themselves and their state-of-the-art bathrooms are in exceptional condition.

Facilities… The Boscolo also features a superb Spa in the basement with a series of treatment rooms, saunas, steam rooms and a long, narrow lap pool.

Transport... a few meters from the Blaha Lujza subway station.
