Walking in the hotel first impressions were favourable. Reception staff were very helpful and were throughout our stay/. Although hotel is a little on the edge of town, the trams stopped outside and the metro station was opposite and only ablaut 10 - 15 ,imputes walk into the old town and a little longer to new town depending on direction walked. Food was excellent in the hotel and served with a smile. We drank local beer and the Czech wine was excellent.

This is a very modern hotel favoured by American tour parties, so all the staff are familiar with English.. The hotel is opposite the Florenc metro station - great for getting from and to the airport - and is on the 24 tram route - good for Wenceslaus Square. And not much of a walk from the hotel to the main sights (or you can be lazy and take the metro). The rooms are clean and comfortable with a good selection of tea and coffee. Cooked breakfast was fine but the pastries were brilliant, and the coffee was great for setting you up for the day. Good hotel.

Comfortable, clean hotel with very pleasant, friendly and accomodating staff. Trams and Metro on doorstep. Possible to walk to main attractions in 20-30 mins.

Hotel was absolutely excellent in terms of facilities and service. Breakfast, in particular, was incredible. I would rate it, by far, the best provision I\\\'ve ever had. The hotel \\\"aesthete\\\" might view the provision as rather soulless, it hasn\\\'t a great deal of character but if that means it doesn\\\'t have funny noises during the night, air-conditioning that\\\'s always going on the blink and staff who intrude on your enjoyment by trying too hard to make sure you\\\'re satisfied, then being characterless is a significant plus. It\\\'s not a great location (opposite the Metro and \\\"Billa\\\", the cut-price groceries group) but, if you\\\'re a people watcher, like me, especially in the morning, it was wonderful. Some great little side-street eateries/drinkeries nearby, instant access to the Old Town, easily the best feature Prague has to offer , through the tram system (once you\\\'ve figured out how the ticket system works). Once in the Old Town, you\\\'re subject to the inflated prices that tourists have to endure. This is just on the edge and my wife and I really enjoyed the opportunity to marvel at the hospitality afforded, of considerable quality, at very low cost. Being a bit of an old \\\"Bohemian\\\" at heart, I\\\'d like to mention, in particular, the cafe on the \\\"bomb-site\\\" right next door to the hotel. It does look like a former construction site, maybe it was, but we ate there twice, I sat for a short time each evening and enjoyed a couple of \\\"male pivo\\\" while watching the world go by and it added enormously to my experience. If you\\\'re a savant, spend the extra cash and go to the Old Town hotels. If you\\\'re looking to enjoy Prague at reasonable cost, and you\\\'ve got a real heart, this is a great place to stay!

Hotel central for sightseeing - evening meals reasonable and an amazing selection for breakfast - extremely helpful and friendly staff - bedrooms clean, tidy and well equipped. Our group of 17 would definitely go again which says a lot!
