Our opinion… Nestled within the ramparts of the citadel and amidst its romantic gardens, the hotel offers a unique experience to each of its guests. 

Location… This Hotel has a fantastic location in the heart of the walled city, with its magnificient views over Carcassonne.

Accommodation… The bedrooms are large and elegantly furnished in a traditional style. Both rooms and bathrooms are in excellent condition, most of the original fixtures and fittings have been preserved. Rooms come with air conditioning, in-house movie, satellite television, mini bar and hairdryer.

Facilities… The Hôtel de la Cité's gastronomic reputation rests on its Michelin-starred restaurant La Barbacane. Located in the heart of the hotel, its neo-Gothic room features magnificent fireplaces, high ceilings and cathedral chairs.

Our opinion… A great choice for exploring the beautiful city of Carcassonne.

Location… The hotel is situated at the foot of the Medieval walls of the city of Carcassonne and enjoys fabulous panoramic views out over the surrounding area.

Accommodation… The tastefully decorated rooms are all carpeted and come with an en suite bathroom, hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, a minibar/ fridge, centrally controlled air conditioning and a hire safe. Free WiFi available in all areas.

Facilities… There is a restaurant and an outdoor swimming pool

The Hotel has an ideal position inside the walled city of Carcassonne. This hotel is a very charming, historical property offering good, modern facilities.The hotel consists of several buildings, in which clients might be accommodated: le Clos de Trincavel, Le Donjon ( the reception is in this building ), La Maison des Remparts and le Comte Roger. The bedrooms have been individually decorated and all are in very good condition. The main restaurant is a very chic, modern brasserie. The lobby has several cosy sitting areas and has a definite medieval atmosphere.
