Situated in a residential area, at the bottom of the Alhambra Gardens and within ten minutes walking distance of the city centre. With a fantastic location right opposite the much visited Alhambra, the Hotel Alixares is in a great spot for visiting this impressive monument and gardens, or for taking a stroll downhill through wooded streets to the city centre. The Moorish style of the area is reflected in the décor of the hotel's spacious entrance hall and café bar. Bedrooms are agreeable and have been refurbished in a blue and cream colour scheme with laminate or marble flooring. There is an attractive outdoor swimming pool and terrace.

Facilities… There is a restaurant at the hotel and numerous tascas and restaurants in the immediate surroundings.

Comfortable hotel housed in an old, typically Andalucian building located in the heart of the city centre. Rooms are spacious and include air-conditioning, direct dial telephone and TV.

Situated in the centre of Granada, close to shopping streets, just a short walk from the Cathedral and the Congress Palace. 89 large bedrooms traditionally decorated to a high standard in pastel tones. Modern in style, the hotel is a comfortable base from which to explore the city, with a rooftop pool to enjoy at the end of a days sightseeing. Down a couple of steps from the reception and lobby is the café bar, and there is a bright restaurant with a choice of buffet and menus. All in all, a very good hotel with a high standard of service and facilities.
