Overall a great base for exploring San Diego and the surrounding area. It is just a short walk (4 blocks) to the ferry to go over to Coronado and the embarkation point for many harbour excursions. The Gaslamp quarter, the convention centre and the fabulous shopping of Horton Plaza are all within 9 blocks. The San Diego Trolly station and the greyhound depot are just 3 blocks from the hotel a 5 minute walk.
