Our opinion… Surrounded by traditional trattorias and wine bars, the luxurious Capo D’Africa is just 5 minutes' walk from the Colosseum.
Location… The hotel is located in the heart of the historical centre, between the Forum and the Domus Aurea and very close to the Colosseum.
Accommodation… Rooms are different in size and furnished in a modern and refined style. The furniture and the tapestries are in a classic but contemporary style. The light colours give a quiet and warm atmosphere. All rooms are equipped with wooden furniture and nuance of ochre colour.
Facilities… Breakfast, drinks and snacks are served up on its rooftop terrace. Breakfast is buffet style and cocktails and wines are available from the Centrum Bar.
Transport… Hotel Capo D’Africa provides free city maps and excellent service. Colosseo Metro Station is 5 minutes away on foot and there are also great bus links around Rome.

Location… The eternal city, artistic and archaeological sites are within few steps. Imperial Forum, Colosseum, Trevi's Fountain, the splendid Santa Maria Maggiore basilica, Spanish Steps, the elegant via dei Condotti and via Veneto are all just minutes away.
Accommodation… Guest rooms are bright, spacious, elegantly furnished, all with en suite, air con, TV & WiFi, mini bar and hairdryer.
Facilities… Guests can enjoy a continental breakfast complete with traditional Italian coffee and cappuccino, pies and fresh croissants. The hotel’s bar is the ideal place for tasting local liqueurs.
Transport… Termini railway station is reachable within 10 minutes walk.

Our opinion… The Hotel Impero enjoys a central location in Rome, right opposite the Roman Opera Theatre and close to the Termini railway station. Thanks to its strategical position, it will be easy to reach all of Rome's major sights, either on foot or by underground and bus.
Location… The hotel is just a 15-minute walk from the Coliseum and the Roman Forum. The famous shopping street Via Nazionale and Metro Stations 250 metres away.
Accommodation… Rooms are decorated with warm colours and wood floors. Each one is air conditioned and comes with private bathroom, a minibar and a TV with satellite channels.
Palladium Palace
Our opinion… This charming hotel is a firm favourite with Cities Direct. Centrally located in the historical city centre, an excellent base from which to explore all the sites of Rome.
Location… Palace Palladium is 100 metres from Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. The Colosseum is a 15-minute walk away. Rome's Opera House is 700 metres away.
Accommodation… Rooms feature classic wood furniture, satellite TV and air conditioning. The bathroom includes hairdryer and toiletries. Some rooms have frescoes from the early 1900s and a jacuzzi shower or bath.

Our opinion… This characteristic hotel offers a good standard of accommodation for a hotel of its category which is first noticed when you enter the spacious and light reception. With only 20 rooms in total, the hotel offers an intimate and friendly stay and it is well located for those wishing to explore the city, being a short walk from the station.
Location… Colosseum, Santa Maria Maggiore, Theatre, Porta Maggiore & various restaurants and cafes are within 20 minutes walk from the hotel
Accommodation…Bedrooms are simple but offer adequate comfort and are decorated in a traditional style, in deep colours, the breakfast room is in a delightful rustic style.
Transport… buses for within Rome and beyond depart from Termini station. There is an entrance approx 500m away.
