Our opinion… The Timhotel Gare de l'Est is a welcoming hotel located near the Canal St Martin, Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord.
Location… Central location in the heart of the Capital provides easy and fast access to all major attractions and sights of Paris.

"Excellent proximity to the Metro and even had a hire bike rank outside if you are brave enough to chance to Paris traffic. It is within walking distance of the Seine, Notre Dame and the Louvre etc. Staff were extremely helpful and there was a good resturant locally. "

"The rooms our party occupied were possibly the smallest we have ever been in. Our room had a hinged louvre door between bedroom and en suite which limited privacy. Corridors were extremey narrow and en suite shower cubicles too compact. Everything was very clean and fresh towels were given every day which was a plus!"

"Room very compact but exceptionally well maintained nd really clean as was the en-suite bathroom. No noisy neighbours, dead quite at night. Reception staff really pleasant and helpful. Breakfast well laid out and loads to choose from. Metro close by and easy to use. Canal situation very pituresque and loads of places to eat and drink. I'd go back without hesitation."
