The lead-in price from £199pp is available in the low season from November through to March. April to October prices are generally higher but please contact us with your preferred travel dates and we will find the best price available from your local airport. The price is based on two people sharing a twin/double room and may vary depending on choice of departure date and airport. All holidays are tailor-made with extra nights, single rooms, checked luggage and hotel upgrades available at a supplement.
Fly direct to Rome. On arrival make your own way to your hotel where you will spend 2 nights. (Instructions on how to reach your hotel using public transport will be provided. Alternatively, airport transfers can be pre-booked at a supplement.) Spend the rest experiencing the a city that has helped shape western civilization.
Rome: The Eternal City, has a wealth of historical attractions second to none. Start with a trip to the Colosseum, the Pantheon and the Roman Forum or head to the Vatican City where the Sistine Chapel with Michelangelo’s beautiful frescoes will enthrall you. St Peter’s Cathedral is one of the largest and most important cathedrals in the world and overlooks the Piazza San Pietro, the famous square where the Pope addresses the Christian world. If you are lucky you may even be able to coincide your break to Rome with a Papal blessing. Make sure you visit the Trevi Fountain and don't forget to throw in a coin, which allegedly guarantees a return visit to this magnificent city. If you are feeling flush make a beeline for the Spanish Steps. The upmarket shops and restaurants will soon relieve you of any spare Euros you have in your pocket.
Check out of your hotel and, if time permits, enjoy a few final hours in Rome before making your own way to the airport for the return flight to the UK. Of course, if you feel you need more time to get round all of Rome's top attractions you may wish to stay a little longer. Extra nights can be added to your holiday at a supplement.
Our opinion… A friendly hotel, in a convenient location for exploring Rome.
Location… Located in the heart of Rome within easy walking distance of many of Rome's most beautiful attractions such as the shopping streets Via Nazionale and Via Veneto, the Quirinale, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, Santa Maria Maggiore Church, San Lorenzo Fuori Le Mura, Villa Bonaparte and Villa Tortonia. Moreover the hotel is just a stroll away from the main railway station.
Accommodation… The hotel's 38 rooms are spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated with air conditioning, phone, modem connection, satellite TV, safe, minibar and a full bathroom with hairdryer.
