The Little Mermaid is the first thing you think of when planning your Copenhagen sightseeing. She draws tourists to the old port district of Nyhavn and is the most photographed statue in the world. A short walk from the statue is the cruise piers and a good place to take a canal tour where you can get the best possible view of the statue, along with viewing the beautiful gabled houses and fabulous architecture.
