Research shows strong consumer demand for ATOL protected holidays

In 2013, market research commissioned by the CAA showed 76% of holidaymakers will take steps to financially protect their next holiday. However, the survey uncovered that some consumers are confused about how to get that protection. Once ATOL protection was explained to them though, three quarters of consumers said that they were likely to book an ATOL protected holiday and 90% said that they would like to receive an ATOL Certificate with their booking. This clearly demonstrates how important ATOL protection is to consumers and consequently the benefits to ATOL holders in promoting the ATOL protection your trips come with.
