What to do on a Bilbao City Break
Bilbao has so many interesting sights to see and do that there is something for everyone and most within walking distance of each other. This first being, of course the Guggenheim museum with its sparkling exterior and housing a display of modern and avant-garde art, is the star attraction to your Bilbao city break. Visit the oldest surviving square in the town called the Plaza Nueva with its 64 arches surrounding it, have a coffee and watch the world go by. For lunch sample Pintxo that is Basque for Tapas and these fine regional dishes can be sampled all over the city. Bilbao celebrates its Maritime heritage and there are many museums and examples round every corner.
